Roberts Law provides debt recovery services for businesses seeking to recover outstanding commercial debts. This pricing information is provided in accordance with the SRA Transparency Rules and applies to debt recovery matters with a value of up to £100,000.
We will discuss the available recovery options, likely costs and prospects of success before progressing your matter.

We do not charge for preparing and issuing a Letter of Claim.
Where payment is recovered before legal proceedings are issued, commission is charged only on sums recovered.

A £20 administration fee may apply where payments are collected by instalments and administered by Roberts Law.
If legal proceedings become necessary, the following court fees and fixed recoverable costs may apply.

*Court fees and recoverable costs are set by legislation and may change from time to time.
The above costs apply to uncontested debt recovery claims. Additional costs may arise where a claim is disputed, defended or requires additional court applications.
Where a claim remains undefended, additional costs may be recoverable when Judgment is entered.

The suitability of insolvency action will depend on the amount outstanding, the debtor’s circumstances and the prospects of recovery. Court fees, deposits and other disbursements may apply. We will advise you on the available options and provide an estimate of likely costs before any insolvency action is commenced.
The pricing set out above applies primarily to undisputed debt recovery matters.
Where a debt is disputed or defended, additional work may be required and costs will normally be charged on a time spent basis. We will provide an estimate of likely costs before undertaking any substantial additional work.

For clients with larger debt portfolios, regular instruction volumes or ongoing recovery requirements, we may be able to offer bespoke commercial arrangements, including discounted rates and tailored pricing structures.
Any alternative pricing arrangement will always be discussed and agreed in advance, ensuring complete transparency regarding costs before any work is undertaken.
